About Dr. Lina Loza
Lina Loza, MD, is a fellow for the University of Colorado Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS). Dr. Loza was born and raised in Colombia and moved to the United States at 13 years old. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at Florida International University while also commissioning as an Air Force officer through Air Force ROTC. Dr. Loza received her medical degree at FIU's Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and completed her OB-GYN residency at San Antonio Uniformed Health Services Consortium (SAUSHEC) in Texas.
Dr. Loza chose urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery to increase awareness of pelvic floor disorders and to improve the quality of life of many women who suffer from incontinence and prolapse. She believes listening to her patients and witnessing the improvements of their daily live is the most rewarding part of her profession.
